What is the Projects Committee?
As our first post, we were inclined to introduce ourselves. The ICS Student Council is an organization at the University of California, Irvine, affiliated with the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Science.
The projects committee comprises 26 developers, including 2 committee chairs. We are an organization run independently by students and for students, providing a platform for motivated UCI undergraduates to learn new technologies, teach skills to empower the student body, and create tools and products that improve the student experience. We aim to be role models and foster a community of accessible technologies to transform and shape our UCI experience for the better.
We’ve established this blog to share new and exciting updates on the products we’re working on, as well as tips and guides from projects committee members at UCI. The two products under the management of the Projects Committee in the 2020–21 remote school year are:
